Performing a regular backup of the users, dashboards, and reports in Retail Pro Reports (powered by Krunch) is important to prevent data loss in case of a system failure.

If you have a backup and your system fails, you can then perform a recovery so that there is no information lost.

Note: This method of backup/recovery only works for installations with the same Retail Pro Reports customer ID.

 

How to perform a backup

Stop the Krunch9_MongoDB service.

Copy the data folder from C:\Program Files\Krunch9\mongodb\

Copy the data folder

 

Start the Krunch9_MongoDB service.

Note: The backup includes users, dashboards and reports.

Replace the data folder with the backup data folder at C:\Program Files\Krunch9\mongodb\
